Week 2 - Choose the Dress!

Each wedding dress tells a story about the bride and her groom.  The color and style reflect not only who the bride is, but what she expects from life with her new husband.  Jessica’s dress should tell the story of a girl who was raised in humble surroundings – but who has risen to power and will soon rule as Antanasia Vladescu, wife of a vampire prince.  The choices have been narrowed down to three.

1.      This dress is both regal and dramatic in black.  Would Jessica – preparing to “rule the dark side of nature,” as Lucius puts it – choose to marry in ebony satin, with a simple but lovely white tiara and jewelry to reflect the traditions of her past, too?

2.      Dress two is a much more startling departure from Jess’s American traditions – but its blood-red color and rich detail definitely point the way to her future as vampire royalty.  As a bridesmaid, is this something you would suggest she wear to begin her new life as Princess Antanasia?

3.      The third option is closest to a traditional white American gown – with the black accents serving as a subtle nod to Jessica’s future role as leader of two vampire clans.  Would Jess want to walk down the aisle in a dress that primarily honors the culture in which she was raised?
