Week 1 - Choose the Location

The first step in planning any wedding is to choose a location.  The spot must be romantic, but it should also be meaningful.  After all, this is where Jess and Lucius will officially unite forever in the presence of their friends and family. 

1.      Should the couple pledge their eternal union in the Vladescu family’s soaring Gothic castle, where Lucius was raised?  It’s a fantastic setting, and the place Jess and Lucius will call home – but also the site of Lucius’s difficult childhood and his darkest act.  Would a wedding reclaim the castle as a place where they can expect a happy future?

2.      The second possibility is the secret, candlelit cave where the Dragomirs and Vladescus first signed the pact that promised Antanasia and Lucius to one another.  A cave might not be most brides’ first choice, but the site has a long tradition with the vampire clans and represents the couple’s strong connection in the past.  Should they begin their future there?

3.      The final possibility is a clearing in the forest, high atop the Carpathian mountains.  The landscape is beautiful but rugged – a fitting place to start a life that promises to be both filled with joy and challenges.  The natural setting could also represent a fresh start for a new generation of vampires who come together in the name of peace.
